 As we Pakistanis acknowledge the supremacy of our new drone overlords, Pakistan is increasingly seen as a disposable US ally by the Obama administration. This is despite the great sacrifice we have made in this war on terror thing. Pakistan is simply looking  for a fair deal and a reexamination by the likes of Admiral Mullen, for example, if, as Pakistan maintains, the drone attacks are totally counter productive.

The barbaric flogging of a 17 year old girl in Swat Valley for talking to a young man by the Pakistani Taliban has underscored the reality Pakistan faces today. My ancestral land is in a state of siege. Pakistanis seem in denial that it is Muslims bombing the hell out of our soldiers, policemen and civilians. The cancer of terrorism is spreading into Punjab, directly threatening Ahmadis, eating into the heart of the Republic. Religious minorities, like Ahmadis and Shia, women, leftists, all true Pakistanis who refuse to bow to an imported idealogy- face a grim future.
 Yet the dance of denial fell when the secretly recorded flogging of that girl in Swat surfaced. Is it Islamic, in any sense as understood by Pakistanis? For strange men to beat a girl, holding her down, humiliating her in all ways? That’s Islam?
 Whatever one thinks about Islam, the vast majority of Pakistanis- Muslims and hardened secularists, feel just disgust- which is not enough.

 And so tens of thousands of Pakistani women have taken to the streets wearing headbands denouncing the Talibanization of our country. The west ignores the mass protests, perhaps as they are organized by the MQM- the most secular party in the country. But these protests are real, Pakistani women have taken to the streets en masse to reclaim the country.  It is just the start of a long struggle, the battle of Pakistan, which will be won by the women of our nation. America will always undercut us, they are with the elite, the generals, the ISI, the rich, the landowners like the men of the Proto Islamist N-League, but the future belongs to us.

 Pakistan is defendable. The army and corrupt politicians skimming off American aid can not get very far, but Sindh Province can be heavily militarized by MQM anti Taliban popular forces. If the government does not defend our interests and allows Swat to be used as a base for the Jihad, the people will defend themselves and Sindh Province will never ever be under the Taliban whip.

Guys, i am under pressure and stuff, what with people trying to cut me head off and all that. Apart from that side, me mum has landed in the country where I am sheltering right now. It’s hectic. She’s early fifties but she tires me out. And if I have to cook one more chicken patte i am probably going to puke.

 But there’s worse! It’s Eid Al Adha and everything is in top gear family wise. Yes, we even have a srawny looking lamb up on the roof bleating away obliviously. I am thinking of setting him-her free or mounting a kind of protection campaign. But I think his-her day’s of just walking around in circles and chewing stuff or seriosuly numbered. Not that I am a vegetarian or anything, fuck, I’ll probably scoff poor lambykins down with me biryani like every one else.

 But seriously, while fighting the great struggle against patriarchy, I also got to admit that I got a lot of personal stuff to take care of. Me mum; for one thing, I have to, simply have to spend as much time as possible with her. Second, it’s eid. Third, I might be travelling soon. I am going to keep posting on my little blog site and thanks for all the nice comments so far.  I have all my life tried to annihilate myself. Self (nafs) in Islam is inherently suspect. It rivals Allah who is supreme. So the Muslima must self negate spiritually. There is nothing in religion that celebrates the triumph of the individual and nothing much in our societies that would encourage development of the individual ego. What emerges are flawed charachters with crippled self awareness, lesbians who deny they are just that, compulsive liars who when caught red handed continue with their lies and natural born hypocrites in all matters of piety. The puny psyche of the male apostate emerges amidst this mileau, resplendent in his toxic cynicism- unable to create, probably unable to even hold together a marriage, malformed people- with underdeveloped values, puerile boys, destined never to mature into men.

 But the female apostate is naturally superior. Her psyche was formed not out of psychophantic pandering to a religion that served her gender- but to direct, ruthless opposition to it. She can not lie- at least not to herself. Her apostacy, the very moment it happened, in that split second of awareness exploded the jinii of her ego. And from that glorious fountainhead of self will, self truth and utter determination, springs the seed of all human progress.

The threads on that site are hilarious, desi apostate men jerking each other off trying to out do each other in their mysogony. Go there only if u want to see how pathetic these guys can be. The moral of the story? A desi guy tries to chat u up on the basis of the fact that he is murtad and ‘different’ and free of Islam’s neurotic hangups towards women- just run a fucking mile!

If you want further proof of why apostate muslim women should never be near these guys- just think about their attempt to blackmail me into sex just cos one of them had chatted with me on me cell phone.
